Dear Curzon Park Residents
I hope this finds you well. As I am sure you are all aware, the incidence of Corona Virus (COVID-19) continues rise globally, nationally and locally with cases now reported in Chester.
Below I have listed links to government and NHS websites detailing important information for what you can do to best look after yourself and family.
NHS Guidance: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/
BBC – Easy Steps to stay safe: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-51711227
BBC – Effective hand washing video: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/health-51637561/coronavirus-watch-how-germs-spread
GOV UK (including information on self isolation, travel and business owners): https://www.gov.uk/government/topical-events/coronavirus-covid-19-uk-government-response
GOV UK map of cases: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-track-coronavirus-cases
Word Health Organisation – How to wash your hands: https://www.who.int/gpsc/clean_hands_protection/en/
Finally, some of you may be aware Health Secretary Matt Hancock spoke on The Andrew Marr show of every Briton aged 70 or over potentially being told to stay at home for an extended period to protect themselves from coronavirus (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-51895873).
With all the above considered this could significantly impact Curzon Park residents. As a Residents Association we take this issue very seriously and want to support all our residents as best we can during this difficult period (currently, of unknown duration).
We are already looking in to potential methods on how we can safely support vulnerable residents and will look to action this once clearer guidance/ information is available.
We will be in touch with further information in due course.
Best wishes
Mike Davies
CPRA Chairman
Good idea posting this.
